This must be the best Haven camp we do!

Crowd are always appreciative and down for a laff, they seem to want to join in on anything and everything.

Because of this belting atmosphere, the night wasn't spoiled when all the clubs PA went down during the Temptations just leaving the main radio mike working.

As an off the cuff ad-lib, Dave got the crowd singing and clapping along to a few Temps numbers, still dressed as the main temp whilst everyone scrabbled about to find out what had gone pop!

Bazza the b@stad - big flared nostrils - filed off nose end - flat back of the 'ed like it's been hit with a frying pan - drawn on - type ex-roadie coming out for this one as Soul-Glow has buggered off to go see Prince.

Usual kind of complaints before we go on stage but everyone don't want us to come off at the end of the night.

Nice 'local' gig for a change and a stonking warm evening for it.

I'm well pissed off with this journey!

It took me and Rich the best part of six b@stad hours to get here.

What really takes the piss, is that our fekin agent has done a deal with these Haven holiday camps, so they book us up for the whole of summer and get some big fek off discount.

So we spend the best part of a day travelling for practically fek all.

R@lph & Ch@ppie had a better trip coming down here from Aylesbury.

In future, if we have a one off gig for this price and it's more than 4 hours drive, I'm staying at home!

Just in case our regular viewers may wonder about the 'all over the placeness' of our blog lately, it's because both Ralpf and meself are trying blogging from mobile devices.

Ralph has a SonyEricsson K800i which blogs straight to the HQ-blog but it eats his credit, whilst I'm using me new Nokia N95...which doesn't go striaght to our blog...(b@stad thing!!!)

But I've finally cracked it!

Just in case anyone is interested, you have to set up a Flickr account on your mobile. This gives you the ability to upload pics to their webspace, which is a kind of online gallery.

With a Flickr setup, you need to tweak it to forward your posts onto your Blogger space.

What a ball-ache, espesh as I've only got the one!!!

But this only works from your PC, right now only posts from your mobile go to Flickr. If you blog from your PC the tweak works fine...

To get posts from your mobile going to both Flickr AND Blogger, you need to download a config file onto your N95 and go through the setup again.

So you now have two Flickr accounts on your Nokia: One which posts to Flickr and one which posts to Flickr and Blogger.

It's been a nightmare but normal service should resume shortly.

Nice full club, prob coz we ain't been in Barnsley for a bit. We all had a good laff 2nite, espesh at Joolz who was whizzing his tits off, sat in the compere box lighting himself up and keeping us in the dark.

After the dissapointing facade of getting stuck in the floods yesterday, it was a bit hit and miss whether we should attempt to get to Great Yarmouth today, AA reporting A47, A1M and A15, A17 all being blocked.

So we went anyway!

Absolutely clear roads all the way down.

Good gig although we were expecting nobody would like us.

Yeah We'll do it! The ents manager (no it's not Kev Guth) and DJ, helping out in the Village People, yesterday.

Littlecotes House Hotel - Hungerford

After a 6 hour drive in a foot of rain, we had to cancel the gig.

On the way home, we pulled into Castleford to check out their latest pole dancing club, so it wasn't a total write off.

Not much room to get changed, few free dinks, cool crowd, you know?

Yipppeee...Meself, acting like a 3yr old, yesterday.

On monday, SoulGlow invited meself, Ralph & the towel balancer & his girl round to his place for a meal, drinks & drugs (his words, not mine).

The night was gorgeous and Jools pad was pretty impressive with his cooking being top notch and his fridge even better.

I must apologise for the following:

Ruining the whole thing by throwing his new DooVDe's down his freshly laid lawn.
Emptying the contents of his drawers into his bed.
Throwing his toilet rolls out of his bathroom window followed by his kitchen roll and holder.
Putting my bits in both Chappie and Jo's drinks.
And finally smashing a full glass of wine over the fireplace, sending candle wax everywhere and then telling Jools:

'Well it is all your fault for inviting me! You know i'm a bit of a loose cannon when i've ad a drink!'

Jools, i'm sorry for acting like a 3 year old. Your meal was great, you're a great host and i'm sorry for trashing your gaff.

This place stinks...of mould, fust and cat piss! Dressing rooms were making us all feel sick to be in they were that tight and minging. Not a bad turn out and we went down ok so that and free Bulmers with ice helped things.

Last gig with Dave, he headed off to do his ELO lark. Just before we went on, we were told a BIG storm was heading this way. Well when we left the venue we walked out into a fekin raging monsoon! We 'borrowed' a brolly from a hot dog stand and got lost and very wet trying to find our caravan. Best nite so far :-)

This place got flooded last week in all the heavy rain and they had to move half of the camp, much of it was still under water!

Not the concert room though.

Always full when we play here, Aerial Micks lad on hand to help the SoulGlow out, they both want to go partaying after.

Looks like we might need ourselves a new driver soon...Sprout has had enuff!

So, late set off, late on and quick off and back home before you know it, in fact I'm typing this sat at me dining room table with a large vodka and orange and it ain't even 1AM!

Kicked out of our accomodation at 3:30 so had to doss in Crawley until going onstage at midnight...fekin fek fek!

Spent morning throwing up a bit more then crashed out on grass outside of our caravan.

Gig was pants as they have lost their late licence so no-one shows up, we only did a 45 min dance set as mgt agreed there was not much point in doing a full show to 7 people.

Not a good weekend...

In fact Chappie was the only happy chappie...

It took the best part of 7 hours to drive here. I don't want to sound like I'm moaning but we hit traffic jam after traffic jam in the best afternoon weatherwise I've seen in ages and arrived just in time to go onstage.

I was nearly passing out with travel sickness and Ralph was seeing stars as it was that hot backstage, well, back in the shoebox of an excuse of backstage.

It may be because we felt shite but we certainly didn't enjoy this gig - I spent the night throwing up and was as sick as a dog the following day, which was a 25 degree scorcher.
